Other apps ask you to trust a company. Breadcrumbs asks you to trust nothing at all. No account, no server holding your history, and no business model that wants one.

People-features ride end-to-end encrypted envelopes, keyed only on the phones involved. A relay could hand over everything it holds and still not answer “where is this person?”.

An SOS packet built for a search

Not just a pin: accuracy circle, direction and speed, your last fifteen minutes of path in every ping, battery, and whether you were walking, driving or still. Crossing 20, 10 or 5% battery forces a fresh location out, so a dying phone's last words are where it is.

The buddy notices where you spend time and offers to make them safe zones. Clustered on the phone, never uploaded, and nothing becomes a zone without your yes.
